Maybe you inherited a family piece that’s seen better days — like a print with weird brown spots, or a watercolor that got wavy and creased after sitting in a damp basement. Or maybe you pulled out an old drawing you love, only to find it torn, yellowed behind glass, or damaged from cheap matting. We see this kind of thing all the time — and we’ve got you.
Whether it’s dirt, mold, tape marks, acid burn, or those pesky little spots (called foxing), we know how to handle it. We gently clean the surface, fix tears and holes, flatten pieces that have warped, and help faded areas look more like they used to.
If your piece is stuck to the glass or held down with bad adhesives, we can remove it safely, clean it up, and back it with proper materials. And if any parts are missing, we can rebuild those too. Once everything’s restored, we mount it using archival materials that keep it safe long-term, so it’s ready to frame, enjoy, and pass down.
